Montgomery area bow shop for 9 yr old 1st bow

Friend has a grandson wanting to shoot and hunt with a bow. Any shops in his area that can fix him up with a bow he can grow with for several years.

Thanks for looking and any replies.

Texas Archery in Spring can handle that.

I second Texas Archery. They are super friendly and helpful. Joey set my wife up with her first bow and did a quick run through of the basics as well.

Just bought my 10 and 11 year old boys Mission Hamm’r bows for Christmas. Great set up, highly recommend this bow if you find a dealer near you. Texas Archery is a really cool store, not sure which brands they sell.

Start him off with an inexpensive recurve and work him up maybe

Texas Archery in Spring, Live Oak Archery in College Station. C & S Archery is just off 105 in Montgomery. Might stop in there and see what he has. I've never bought anything there except arrow shafts. For being right down the road it couldn't hurt to stop in.

Texas Archery. Ask for Joey, he’ll probably set him up with a mission compound that can grow with him.

It should be noted that C&S is no longer right off 105, their new premises is off of 149 right south of Montgomery proper. JIC you’re looking to go there
