    Scope Covers

Got a new Leupold 3-9x40 scope but it didn't come with scope covers ..
I like the flip-up kind with an added soft cover when not hunting ... Guess measure the lenses for sizing

Other than Flip - Up ... What do you use ...

I use the flip - ups and the Neoprene soft covers. I have messed up the sizing on the flip ups a couple times. Last time I bought some at Cabela's I found my scope in the display and they let me try the different sizes of covers on it. I would have bought the wrong ones again if not.

That's a Good Idea .. I'll measure them and trace the lenses on paper to take with me .. Like you .. I also bought wrong sizes .. Lol

All this time I was thinking I was the only one that did that. Don't feel quite so bad now

If it’s a Leupold drop the $$ for the Alumina flip covers.

You’ll never want to use the cheap plastic/rubber ones again.

This... I have a couple Leupolds (VX3 and Mark4) with butler creek covers and a VX5 and a VX6 with Alumina covers. The Aluminas are a great deal better than the butler creeks.

Was I was going to post the same they are nice. Wish I could find them for my night force. I bought some pretty nice “ soft” ones, but the name escapes me at the moment.

I use the Scope Shield. It really covers the scope nicely, and easily removed for a shot
