Im typing this while laying flat in a hospital room. Yesterday my wife and I were making a trip from Lufkin to Conroe. We were in 2 vehicles, she and our 2 yr old in her suv. I was in my truck. We were in 59S just south of the trinity river when a car crossed over the median and hit me head on at 75mph, i was in front of my wife. I hit the car head on and it spun around and the other car caught my wifes car. She and my daughter are just fine, shaken up a bit. However the L3 vertebrae in my lower back is non existent. I have a broken left foot and a broken clavicle. I go in for surgery tomorrow to fix my back. I ask for everyone to keep me and my family in your prayers as its going to be a long road to recovery.
