Has anybody had any luck at San Angelo?

Wondering if anybody has had any luck at san angelo this year? I am heading down there this weekend.

We did a youth hunt with a couple of our boys and took a lil' 4 point (his first deer ever) on Saturday morning next to Unit 4. Deer movement was surprisingly SLOW.

The deer movement was slower than slow. Last year I saw deer every time I sat, but the only thing I saw this trip was four does the very first morning. The movement was just about non existent in the evenings. But I cant complain too much, I did have multiple shot opportunities at the does but they were all around 40 yards. I tried to give the does the opportunity to get closer but they decided to turn and go down the other trail. I be going back in two weeks.

Shot a nice doe last weekend.

We got a doe down last night. We passed on a few and coulda had another 8 point that was in the trees and didn't reveal himself until after the shot when the other does ran
