Default DIY Bridge

Little weekend project to take the place of a old bridge that kept washing away
Hope this one holds up

If you buried a 4x4 upstream of that center post supporting the bridge, do you think it would help catch and divert some debris so it doesn't catch on the bridge. It would in turn in my head take some of the force off the bridge. Make any sense? It may not work, just a thoughtm

I have been thinking about that I was thinking of taking a 4x4 and bolting the top of it to the leading supporting leg then taking the other end and laying it on the creek bottom almost making a wedge shape so as things come by they will be pushed off to the side

That side pic really puts the depth into perspective! I would have to put some kind of rub rail on it though for safety. You just never know.....
