Default Handmade Butcher knife set

Finally got around to a project Iíve been looking forward to for some time! Have a friend who helps guide and enjoys outback hunts of his own and he wanted a leather knife roll with a butcher knife, skinner and all purpose hunting knife. Came across this super handy field sharpener too by Worksharp to throw in. The sharpener has a strop, diamond stone and ceramic tuner and is probably one of the best all around field sharpeners Iíve seen in a while. It has angle guides that help get a novice sharpener started.

The bull nosed butcher was one mentioned in a previous post some others had wanted to see. Looking forward to making a set for myself as well as some tweeks on the case to include an outside pouch for gloves or bags, etc....

Really nice looking set of knives. That butcher knife has a Nessmuk look to it.

Thanks guys. Canít Nessmuk but definitely adds a nice weighted slice/cut action. Sucker shaves too. Went with .100 width on it and feels good

Thanks man, yes, the vines are done by hand with files and add some character. I didn't put any on the butcher only because it's a bit thinner steel. thanks again!

Those are slick. A lot of the custom knives that show up on this forum are pieces of art that don't interest me. But those have just enough but not too many embellishments. I would buy those. Good work.
