Default Project - warm ***

Grabbed some car seat heaters from eBay for $20. Comes with 2 for 1 seat. ( bottom and back). Iím going to ATTEMP to install one in a hang on seat.

Iíll weld up a 3s 18650 battery pack to power it. If it works out Iíll use the second one for either a back rest or throw it in an old hoodie.

Do you have any concerns about how well the LiPo's will function in the cold temps where this will be useful?

All batteries suffer in cold weather. I don't see it being much of a problem though. No different than heated clothing etc they all use them.

wonder if you tied one on the underside of the platform if it would help keep feet warm.

Care to dumb it down for me? I am pretty bad when it comes to electronics.

Could you hook one up to a 6 or 12 volt re-chargable battery, which is charged by a solar panel, and leave it in your stand?

What a great idea!

Yes any 12v battery would do. I have a plethora of 18650 batteries which is why I used them.
