I believe so. Still waiting on the full story but there's a dog in the picture he sent, I just cropped it just to show the deer.

I'll try to find out who it was. He said they took the dog to the last blood and he took off and went ~100 yards straight to the deer, he was right on the edge of the creek that we searched up and down the morning before.
