I hunt around center point, normally see pretty small bucks, recently saw a pair of escaped black buck, and I have seen Audad in the past. Need to save my money for a shoulder mount before taking one of those though.

Hunted a couple places west of Medina, TX had some good bucks and exotics galore. I keep hoping to get back there, should be good hunting. Good luck

Im close to Tarpley. Got a couple bucks on camera, but none while in the stand yet. Rain needed desperately. No acorns opening weekend but buddy got a nice doe on my place opening day.

Took this buck prior to the cold front outside Medina. Estimated 5 yr old and 202 lb live weight. Seen him for 3 years and no material antler growth this year. Tons of fat on him.

We put out a little just for attractant. We hunt 70 acres but us and our neighbors have done a good job clearing cedar and getting natural vegetation back strong.

I saw a really good buck with a doe this morning on my way to the gym at about 0530. Big old 9 or 10 point, neck swollen and his hocks were black. The rut is kicking off I think.
