Friday night lights!

Nerves have hit the Abel household in Lorena. Wife was pretty nervous last night for the game against Diboll tonight. I told her I was confident that we would wear them down and take control after watching them play Halletsville on film. Diboll is big and fast but they are about to get punched in the mouth early and often.

Franklin takes on Poth tonight. All I know about them is that they have lost one game. Either Franklin is just that good or we haven’t played a real team since we played Lorena!!!

Rooting for Franklin to get that title this year. I have been asking myself are we that good or is the competition that bad since we faced y'all and China Springs. QB1 hasn't played but 1 full game since the first two. Hope to be able to watch both Lorena and Franklin on 12/16 bring home the 3A titles.

Jake is out of surgery and everything went great. I told him he can still get to 2nd period if he hurries.

Poth had Stockdale in their district. Poth beat them 21-0. Franklin played Stockdale 2 weeks ago in playoffs. We were up 49-0 at half. Hoping it’s another game in Franklins favor. But I would imagine it’s going to be a little tougher than the last few.

I did look at a couple of videos of them and really looked no different than some of the teams we’ve already played. Hoping for another big blow out.

Good win! I haven't watched any film on waskom but they always have speed to burn at multiple positions.

Gunter takes down 13-0 Holiday, next up 14-0 Roosevelt. My prediction is Gunter moves on to face Franklin. That Waskom / Franklin game should be a good one, but Franklin looks so dominant this year.

Lorena hit Diboll in the mouth early and often. Pulled away in the second quarter for a 63-28 beat down. Next up is Lago Vista in Georgetown Thursday for a trip to Jerry World.
