    Question about Pulsar CS :-)

Nothing bad. I'm 10 hundred millin percent happy with Pulsar.

This is not meant as a "Good Grief" thread or a rant. I'm just perplexed

I sent in my RXQ30V because the power button is broke.
They got it Monday, Tuesday they tried to call me, I didn't answer so they emailed me and I called them. They said say yep the power button is broke. We can fix it for $16.20 should we proceed. I was like please[emoji1303].
I get a shipping confirmation from them today. It's going to be $17.32. I was thinking ok?? Money well spent. They attach a copy of the receipt.
This is where I get confused.

I've attached a screen shot of the receipt.

    Line 1 says a new scope $1899.97
Line 2 says end user repair, warranty etc $16.20
Than under remittance slip it says amount due $0.00

So here's where my brain goes stupid and am wondering
    1) they fixed my scope. If yes why line 1?
    2) they swapped out for a refurb scope. If yes why line 1?
    3) They're sending me a new scope under warranty. If yes WHY? I told them in writing I bought it used of the internet. Actually found it here on TBH [emoji1303][emoji1303] So why end user warranty?

Why don’t you make this real simple and ask them?

My thoughts are, if he would have just called them it would have robbed us of

            22 post bashing pulsar
16 post about how pulsar is the greatest product ever

                  I’d send them a check for $0.00.

Technician that repairs knows only what repair cost is
He/she makes repair after you approve and passes off to billing department.

Person in billing has discretion to wave or adjust charges.
In your case, maybe the thought was to just wave the charges since they were minimal with the hope that you would tell people how great they treated you. Ends up bringing them a substantial return on their investment.

                    Who knows
I would definitely shoot their CS a note of thanks

                      I know you're not.
I didn't take it that way.

I know their CS is legit. I broke the USB Port on my wraith. Sent it on for repairs and they sent me new one.

Just boggles my mind how this warranty stuff works. I bought a used score at a used scope price....
