He grossed 127 4/8”. That’s pretty decent for an 8pt. Around my place that’s about as big as I’ve seen in the whole time I’ve lived/hunted here. He also had no ground shrinkage. If anything, he looks bigger than he actually scores. Scores are just a reference for me. Im not much on entering my deer in the books. He’s in the freezer. Field aging, I have him at 4 1/2. I’m gonna have the taxi save the jaw for me so I can verify his age better.

And how about the score for yours??? He has good length and great mass.

Great shooting everyone! I need to get out and on the board myself.

Great bucks WarWagon!

Love the tree-rat kills. I've declared war on the ones in my backyard, but so far they have eluded my arrows.

First deer of the season! My place got a crap ton of rain that definitely was going to affect travel patterns as high water blocked normal travel corridors. Luckily for me, no hogs, but had a couple does show up my first sit.

Haven't been shooting my bow much...maybe a dozen arrows in the past two months.

Had this guy come in twice before. Always jumpy and never really clears the brush line. Well tonight he did. It was at the end of shooting light and I forgot to hit record. But I did hit him. He turned just as I released and where his shoulder was his chest front became and . . . He cleared the brush line by maybe 10 yards.

I got on a group at the house tonight and was able to get this little guy. There was a good boar in the group but I’ve learned to many times to take the first opportunity you get or you may not get one at all!
