So right after the update about the 6 I had a full grown man roll in! This isn’t a deer that I know. Giant body, mega 8. 17” wide, 5” brows, 13” 2’s 10-11” 3’s really good beams and strong mass.

He was at between 35 and 23 for 10min. When he finally got right to shoot I couldn’t see through my peep. Pop up blind got me on light this evening but an awesome encounter nonetheless. See y’all in the morning and hell yes I will have my rifle.

Depends on the situation. I have the .280 and 7mm Mag. I’m not even 100% sure where I’m going in the morning. The place will dictate the gun.

2 more little bucks in the pen.

I’m set up on the same property as yesterday but on the other end. It isn’t exactly where I want to be but the wind is a little janky for the draw I wanted to watch. Movement here and on the cell cams seems a little slow this morning but mornings have seemed slower the last few days. I have some kind of bird on top of the blind making all kinds of noise and getting the deer weird. Check back in a bit.

Remington 700 M40 LR in 7mm Mag. I’d planned on watching a long draw snd having a long shot possibility and not sitting in a bow blind with s feeder at 18yds lol. There’s also potential for a long shot here too but I’m definitely a little over gunned... or at least over scoped.

Got a buck of some kind pushing some does around 600 yards to the east. They have no problem covering that distance in a hurry.

Right there with you, I have two weeks off starting Wednesday so I thought it would be easier to miss. When I started seeing all of the trucks loaded down headed North on 59 yesterday it hit me hard!
