I’m bummed about it. Forecast says 82 for Saturday at my house, which is bad but wouldn’t be horrible if it was cool in the mornings. But 67 ain’t cool.....

What a bunch of wimmin. I agree it’s less than ideal, but after hunting axis with temps in the upper 90’s most of the summer, it’s not that bad. Bucks are still mostly on their summer patterns and coming to feed regularly. If you have one you like, go kill him while you still can.

High of 88, low of 72 in Elkhart Saturday. 100 degree high wouldn't keep me out of the woods for the opener. I still get as excited about deer season as I did when I first started. If I ever lose that, I may have to move on to something else.

Y’all have at it. It ain’t worth sitting in the heat for me anymore. Plus the fact of having to make a quick recovery to keep the meat from spoiling.
