Yesterday our department worked a very difficult house fire which resulted in 1 fatality and the home a total loss.
The surviving resident has about 10-12 chocolate lab pups they have decided to rehome at no charge. I do not have a lot of info on the bloodline of the dogs, other than they were bred from a very good hunting line. The pups are 6-7 months old right now, and I don't think they have been worked with much as the one of the owners had fallen ill a few months back and did not put any more time into them.
If you would like to rehome one, please contact the owner at 979-332-1391
Though they are not charging anything to rehome the pups, they would gladly accept any donations as they have lost everything. As far as I know, the pups are currently being kept at different kennels around the Victoria area
