Webb County Bday LIVE WEEKEND!

Every year for the last 5 years now I’ve made a birthday weekend trip to a friends place in Webb County between Encinal and Freer. Usually shoot a management buck and a doe and pigs. The deer count is down this year so we are mostly pig hunting but we will fling some lead and quail too!

Got down yesterday about 2:30. Unloaded and headed out. Dad had been feeding the roads heavy for about 3 days so the critters were out!





Headed out this morning to sit for pigs. I’ll be in the only tree stand on the place! Lol.

I’m assuming this is the same guajardo ranch you enter through the blackbuck ranch gate to get to? My friend had that lease for years, Donnie Vestal. Wonder if anyone is still there when he was on it. I’ve killed a few management deer off of there, great ranch and a lot of deer. Good luck.
