    Anvil info

My neighbor has this anvil and the owner has passed. Does anyone know what the marks on this anvil mean if anything? It’s pretty good size and a heavy piece of iron. It does have a good ring and bounce if that matters.

Can you make a tracing of the logo and look under the horn and along the base for numbers.

Some vintage ones are worth bank, hundreds in thousands of dollars.
    very cool.

Best I can tell, the logo looks like a Trenton.

agreed. Logo looks like my trenton. What are the numbers on the foot?

I’ll have to go over there to check for additional numbers and such in a few days. I received these photos from the owner. I will update info when I can.

Yeah, Trenton used the diamond logo alot. I'm going to guess 130-150 lbs if those are regular 4x4 underneath. Used to be $2 a pound was a good price, but now it's more like $4-6 depending on who's asking. Top looks average. $200 would be the steal price, but even $600 would be retail-ish.
