I have searched all over for what I am wanting to do, but I haven’t had any luck. I’ve drawn out a very detailed and intricate wiring diagram of what I have so far. Basically it’s a motor driver that controls 2 DC motors individually on one 12V system and a solenoid that’s controlled on a separate 12V system. I am wanting to do away with one battery and have both systems powered by 1 -12V battery. Would a diode soldered in at the solenoid accomplish this? Or do I need other fun stuff like a MOSFET as well?
