Ever since we introduced the Carbon Tomahawk last year I've had the itch to build one in a Dasher. A quick check of the MDT flush fit mags showed that it would indeed feed the little giant slayer of a cartridge. I've been slowly accumulating parts and finally had everything in hand to put it together.

Just finished it up yesterday evening and ran down to the range to give it a quick test run this morning before work. I think this one's gonna be a keeper!

Components:
MDT HNT26 Carbon Fiber Folding Chassis
Defiance AnTi Action
Proof Sendero 18" BBL
Trigger Tech Special
AB Raptor 6 with 5" reflex
Leupold MK5 3-18(hey, it was free)
Total weight - 8 lb 12 0z

The best part was after just 2 foulers and one 3 shot group to confirm POI, I made a small adjustment and sent rounds 6, 7 & 8 into this.

I'm actually looking forward to load development for once

The gun looks awesome but that's not the best part.

little off topic Robert but have you gotten a reamer for the 6.8 Western? Seems like a sweet spot between the 6.5 PRC and the .300 PRC.

If your looking for more bullet choices, I’d buy a 7prc personally.

The little ugly duckling continues to impress! Just did a quick 3-round zero confirmation at 100 since I had to go to the range anyway today. Can't wait for late season doe patrol this year
