I think this thread jinxed me. I have a rifle i have shot many animals with. Last time out it started missing. Took it to the range yesterday and it’s all over the place. Changing the scope today and back to the range.
Glad you got forward movement. Nothing more frustrating than a rifle that doesn’t shoot straight. Been there done that and I’m sure I will again at some point too
I would say there is possibly something wrong with the scope, maybe loose mounts, or rings, but does not look like the problem with the results you are getting. The other possibility, is you are shooting bullets of a weight the gun does not like at all. But the way it shot basically three groups, I would be leaning towards scope.
I had the exact same results with a Savage I bought once. Come to find out, it had major stock issues as well, even admitted by Savage and was returned for full credit.
