    Shot placement video

Interesting take on shot placement. Never really thought of their “duck” but that sure made sense to me.

Several years back I shot at a doe that was 31 yards and she knew I was there. She was on high alert. I aimed at the very bottom line of her chest and the arrow hit her in the spine. They can really move fast.

I liked to shoot head down but the last couple animals and deer I've shot have just happen to be head up when I shot and there was no "jumping the string" per say.

I've been saying this for 20 years. Shoot with head up if you can. Their first movement is to get the head down to load for leaving and if it's already down, the next to drop is their body. My videos tend to confirm this.

              Great video.

I always liked head down until this haha. I shot one a few years ago. Missed her at 20, holding low and went under her. She circled to 40 and was looking where it came from. Dialed for 40, and aimed very low, should’ve just aimed with 30, but I nailed it and held ridiculously low.

I’d rather miss a deer low than hit one high! Always aim low!!!!!

Awesome. Great info and reminder to practice how you hunt.
