    Camo Pattern

This time of year in South Texas mesquite trees turn a white wash gray color. I’ve seen a few hunters have them here but can’t seem to find the color I need. Any ideas where I might score me some camo threads in the color I need?

    Thanks in advance.

I use Predator, spring green, Mossy Oak, Shadow Leaf, and Cabelas, Berber. Works in East TX also.

Fred Bear said the best camo was
          Shut up and be still.
Not sure he worried about what color he wore.

Deer are most certainly not color blind, they see on the ultraviolet spectrum and very well. Blues, greens stand out very well to them as do pastel colors, red and orange are the only colors to actually go “grey” to deer eyes. Most fashion camo becomes a dark blob to deer, realtree, mossy oak etc more hide hunters from other hunters more than anything. Mossy oak brush is a good pattern, predator camo, asat and some of the newer patterns like veil are good patterns.

Best camo for it in my opinion is mossy oak brush and predator camo

Natural gear is a muted out smash of different grays. It blends in great!
