    Big Bend 2020

Well I'm finally getting around to getting some of my Big Bend photos posted, and figured I may as well share. It was an epic trip in the Chisos with some weird weather, and a lot of great miles on the boots. We did three nights in the backcountry, and I loved every minute of it!

Those are some great shots. My BB picks do not hold a candle to those.

Awesome pics. The family and i camped in the chisos basin campground last may and had wicked storms every night when it got dark. Never got to stargaze and nearly lost our tent on the last night there.

Still can't wait to go back and do a solo trip where i can do the longer hikes.

I love going out there, I could live out there. Those are some nice pictures, really like them. That would be very cool to camp up there. Probably not many bears up there at night. The bears seems to all or most all go out into the desert at night looking for prickly pears to eat, not sure if the prickly pears have pears on them right now, if they do, you should see signs of bears and coyotes eating a lot of the pears.

The last time we were there, we went up the Lost Mine Trail, it was beautiful, the view is amazing. While we were up on top, one of those small rain storms came through, dumping rain and it had lightning in the cloud or clouds. Hearing and seeing the lightning from up on top of the mountain, the rain clouds were just a little above us. The sound of the lightning was pretty cool, with a nice little light show.
