My first (and probably last) Chef's Knife

    Made this for my daughter's 21st B-day.
Way harder than I was prepared for and honestly not impressed with it's performance.
    Ground from 1/8" 1095 plate.
Trying to get it thin enough using a 1"x42" grinder was a whoopin' and I quit grinding before I got it to optimal thinness.
I'm pleased with the saya but I should have spent more time getting my etching template perfect.

It looks good, though. And that wooden Saya, is pretty awesome.

Thanks y’all. I have a new respect the knife makers who make high performance chef’s knives.
