Butcher paper for smoking meat

Can someone explain why most folks prefer pink/peach colored butcher paper over white to wrap their briskets?
What is the science behind the colored being better than white?

The white paper is bleached and usually coated (wax, chemicals, ect). Leave that one for folks that bake
