I'm on the Ft Hood page and don't really understand the process for hunting out here. Aside from hunting license, hunter's ed, the Hood permit and access card, can I just hunt whenever? I would be using a bow, so no need to register a fire arm?
Yes and No, only certain areas are open at certain times. There is a lot to soak in about hunting there, not difficult, just a lot. I could type you a few paragraphs, but it is probably best if you go to the sportsman center and read the entire hunting guide that they will give you.
