Son headed to Iraq today

We have known this day was coming for several months. My son reported to his base today (Ft Carson, CO) to head to Iraq. He should be getting on a plane about now.

Mixed emotions. Very proud of him, sad that he will be away from his family so long and praying for God's protection on him. His mother is very emotional about it today.

Please keep PFC Jim Miles in your prayers.

I completely understand. my Son is a Marine and has been in afghanistan since 1st of april he is not scheduled to come home until december. get used to not sleeping and keep your phone with you at all times they call at odd hours when ever they get a chance.the post office has flat rate boxes they will give you ,it costs 10.95 to ship the big ones regardless of the wieght. they NEED LOTS of baby wipes and what ever else you feel like sending. MAY GOD BE WITH THE OUR TROOPS!!!!!!!!
