After watching Tennessee last night.......it is them, then everyone else. They are stacked from top to bottom. I am interested to see LSU play them this evening. I don't think it is going to end well for the Tigers. Stranger things have happened but they are a solid team all the way around.

Well I think LSU will start Floyd tonight and Tennessee will probably chase him out the game by the 2nd inning. He basically has a fast ball bc his off speed stuff has been bad for a while now. Tennessee will sit fast ball and smash him.

Yep. When they were 25-5 and next closest was 19-11 in conference, that tells you all you need to know.

Stevens was able to finish Pete's gem on Wed, work out of a mess yesterday, and pitch the 9th. With the day off today, he'll be good for several innings tomorrow, and few on Sunday if needed. There is NO ONE else in that bullpen who can do that. I doubt they use him both of the next few days, but if this tourney was more important, they could. You don't need a 4th starter in the post season.



My wife and son are going out there today for Frawgs/Pokes. They were hoping to see the Horns, but such is life. He'll be wearing his 44 gear either way. We may run out there Sunday depending how our tournament, and theirs, go. She's already chirping about a trip to Austin with the chance to host looking a little better.

Hope they don't get beat today and he has to miss the 1st game of the regional.

Yeah. I was thinking about the 4th game in this almost pointless tournament....OR THE THIRD. Either way Texas would be better if he didn't digress as he did and was still one of the 3 starters. It's silly to say they are better with him in the pen and without a quality 3rd starter.
