Hill Country Bucks ready for arrows...

These are three of the deer we have had on camera that have will up for a trip to The Great Beyond!

Tall Tine buck we call HighTower - We think he is 7+

The stud 8 that has a small point on his right side trying to be a 9 - we think he 6

    And the Pencil 8 - 7+

And the Split G2 Buck - 5 - he was a split tine now for the 3 rd year. We think he is older even though not as big of body as he acts like an old buck the way he visits feeder and the way the other deer are around him.

Very nice, how do you get them that mature without the neighbors shooting them

The tall one is a toad! haven't seen much more mature than that in years. Good luck!

There isnt much more raw land for a ways so not much hunting pressure. The biggest threat is the traffic. When I was a kid in that area there were NEVER deer like this.

We have been feeding them Lyssy & Eckels protien and cotton seed heavy. It hasnt been cheap but they eat good.

There has been lots of development so its pushed deer into areas that are left.

We are pretty happy so far.
