    I’d probably go with the standard Nomad given your needs. The Sandman’s are harder use, lower back pressure cans. The Nomads are a little quieter and lighter (though not much if you add Key-Mo) and still plenty durable for “normal” use. The Ti cans aren’t single shot only, but they aren’t for mag dumps.

    The -L cans are primarily designed for magnum calibers, extra length quiets them down more effectively. It does something on a standard cartridge in a bolt gun too, but not much. IIRC it was like 1-2 dB quieter on a .308, but 5-6 on a .300 magnum.

    On an AR platform the Nomad-L is likely to be louder to the shooter than the normal Nomad due to port noise from the increased back pressure. I wouldn’t really consider a Sandman-L for anything besides something like a Falkor. It’s just to long/heavy to move around with.
