    2020 hot pepper gardening

I have purple chili pequin and an orange habanero plants that I’m going to replant and move indoors. I also have cayenne, red savina, and ghost pepper seeds that I will germinate this weekend with the plan to grow them under a light in prep for transplanting in the spring.

My kids have liked the meals we’ve cooked with the orange habaneros, and we’re actually looking for something with more pop, hence the red savina. The cayenne and chili pequin will get ground up for use as a seasoning, and I have no idea what the heck to do with the ghost peppers!

Make your own ghost pepper hot sauce at home with this recipe, which includes plenty of chopped ghost peppers, tomatoes, vinegar and salt. Big flavor, big spice!

I used this recipe last year for my ghost peppers. Man it is hot.
