    FSC week 48

For this challenge let’s shoot a group!

I was in Arkansas with my wife’s family over Thanksgiving and her uncles brought their Trad bows over to the get together and we shot quite a bit Saturday afternoon. A topic got brought up about how when they started they went by the “pie plate” rule. “If I can hit a pie plate at 20 I’m going hunting”

We have all heard it, and some of us have even been there. But for this challenge we will aim at the center of the pie plate. Try to shoot at least 3 days, best 3 shot group wins!

For the target draw an 8” circle with a dime sized dot in the middle, shoot to kill!

To specify a little more … Are we shooting from 20 yds? Also…do we measure to center of dime dot or edge of dime dot?

I strained my neck last week and it hurts to draw my bow. I need to heal a few more days before shooting.

    Good target MrTradman.

Let’s shoot from 15 yards, and measure your group from the center of the dime sized circle. Hopefully I can get home in time to shoot some this week!

I shot from 20y and measured edge to edge of widest two shafts.

        Day 1: 3 1/4 group

Then let’s shoot from 20! Good shooting!

Been weeks since I even shot from 20. Here's this morning. No measure.

Hopefully you at least got her number after straining that much.[emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787]

We used to have to put 4 out of 5 arrows on the plate at one day lease I went to. Then I was convinced that was "good enough".
Today I know how not near good enough it is.

Day 3: Well, it won't beat Reb's great group, but this dog will hunt. Good thing, since I'm headed hunting this weekend!

First shot best. Total: about 3-9/16"

Sir, that is a lot tighter Group than mine. I measured between the two furthest arrows, yours are a lot closer. I didn't measure each arrow from center spot.

You have the lead tradtiger, nice shooting 👍🏻

Oh, okay. Thanks,Reb. Plenty of daylight left to beat that, though.

It was a double take that did it. Each hiney cheek deserves its own gander.

Im married…so I get to sleep with it.
