    West Texas bear/elk

I have a place I Mule deer hunt around Sanderson, TX.

So far in one month, we’ve had 6 different bulls, several cows, and several black bears.

The bears had completely destroyed 2 feeders, and ripped off the motors off the same feeder twice.

The bull elk happen to knock the motors out of place from their antlers. Obviously they can’t help it, since They are much much bigger.

Buts still nice to see them moving around well.

Nice and thanks for sharing the pics. Are you straight south of Sanderson or further west? I have seen and heard of bears south of Sanderson but I have only seen elk further west.

The bear smiling is awesome and the elk is very impressive. Should be a fun season for sure.

A buddy hunts in sanderson also. After the bears destroyed his feeders he bought Lamco Low and Throw feeders. The bears, Elk, mule deer, or anything else hasn’t hurt them.

It’s only awesome to see bears when it’s not your feeders and cameras getting destroyed by those giant raccoons.
