    Deer Corn IBC Tote

Picked up a 275 gallon IBC and was wondering how much corn will it hold.
One reference I saw claimed 8.33#/gallon which works out to 2290#. Does that sound about right?

8.33 ppg is the weight of water, corn would be lighter for the same volume.

Found a better reference. I think 6.02/lb is probably correct so at 275 your pretty close Jeff. 1,655 is what the math says. Thanks

I got 1650 based on our 55 gallon feeders hold 300 lbs. Sounds like your in the ball park.

I fill 2 totes every year for corn, I made a square hole about 20” to fill thru that has a cover. Depends on the size and weight of corn and how full you can get it. It will settle some after loading but I get around 1800 and 1950 was the most I remember.
