FHA, Fur Harvesters auction, held their July auction this past week. I believe they had Canadians only in person, might be wrong, but online also.
We had 1 bobcat we sent up there a year ago March, it finally sold this past week for $395.
We should see $325+ after commission and fees. About on par with what buyers were paying, maybe a touch more, this past fall. It was a nice heavy, bluish tom.
We were happy with the buyer we sold to last year and will probably go that route instead of direct to the auction house unless things change.

Sounds like you did good on the cat, congrats

I have 3 traps in the ground right now to see if I can catch a summer coyote.
Preferably the one with chicken on it's breath

Good luck !

Cats were way down this year . What we sold would have brought hundreds more on normal years. Coyotes were still good for our western dogs but down as well.

Hoping cats bounce back this winter, we concentrate on bobcats and coyotes.

Our coyotes are not worth skinning, all predator control

Got our check in the mail from FHA in Canada. They had a bobcat we sent in late Feb. 2019 that sold at the latest auction.
It brought $395 and netted us $350 and change. Can't really complain as it brought more than what we sold locally.
The market is really looking up for our bobcats and coyotes this winter.

Bout time to start that 2021-22 trapping thread. We'll be starting on coyotes end of Oct this year.

Here's our $395 bobcat, he graded a B belly but 3x size and heavy fur.
