Well taste is subjective to the individual. I love German dark beers and ales and Shiner Bock is the closest thing I’ve found in America that compares to what I drank while living in Germany.

There are some craft brews that are very good but for an everyday beer, it’s what I like.
    Prost!

I think there’s such a thing as over complicating of beer lately.

When I actually bought a case I was really let down. Its not terrible but I wouldn't buy it. The black and tan is okay, still not some mystical beer like some would have you believe. Every time I go to Destini/Ft Walton beach I buy it just because, but honestly it not that good.
I go to Alabama every year and bring some back, not because it’s good but just to say I have some. It’s not that good lol, but then again I drink actual beer.

Yuengling used to be a fairly reasonably priced option, 12 pack for 7 bucks. Still a big fan every time I go back East. As others have stated, they’ll sneak up on you.

Actual beer vs. the oldest brewery in the US?? Ok.

Put Bud bottles in a cooler along with others at a party and see what which beer goes first. Lite beers don't count as real beer.

Don’t find many folks drinkin the king these days. First beer I ever had was a rodeo cold Budweiser, and it was many years later before I could drink another one.

What does the oldest brewery have to do with anything?

You probably fall in BOB’s category.

You'd be surprised. I think Bud Light and Bud are still 1 and 2 in sales. I'm a Miller guy but facts are facts.

My first beer was also a rodeo cold bud heavy. El Rey.
