Default Not just a pig...

So, for the first time since about 2012/2013, I have an archery induced LDP to contribute to the Green Screen. Have had a group of six ~40lb pigs coming to my feeder and opening evening I stuck one but did not pursue into the thick youpons where I heard it crap out. I knew it was dead. This past weekend, the group of pigs came back (minus 1) right before dark. They’re all black but one red one, I decided I would shoot her if I could get the shot. Turned the Grim Reaper Razortip loose from the Obsession Defcon6 and hit that magic spot in the shoulder that just lays them over. She was DRT in about 20 seconds. This is the first “confirmed” animal I’ve shot with my bow on my families land in Colmesneil in about 15 years. And been about 5-6 I think since I’ve “confirmed” anything with a bow period. So just y’all know, I actually try to contribute around here

Thanks all, I busted out laughing when she just laid over. I was expecting another stick and run. First time Iíve ever had one do that.

Not too bad, we are in the Jones country areas. Lots of timber company land around us and I know they have a decent amount on those places. We have never really had them until the neighbor put up a high fence and pushed them out of his creek bottoms. All I have is the occasional lone boar and two sows and a group of pigs.

Theyíre purple. Got them off amazon. $21 for 6 of them for 5mm Eastonís. They work like Nocturnals, have the internal switch. Havenít had any issues so far.

She would have, been fattened up on lots of corn from me and the neighbors. I tried to give her to a couple folks but nobody wanted her at the time. I didnít have a cooler and everything else I needed

Now for the pigs, I hate them and Iím already reviving all my night hunting stuff. If they change their pattern, so will I . Also set up a feeder on the property a few hundred yard from my hand corn pile and the new Grendel is ready to eat there too.
