Default College Football 2019 - Week 6

Bye for the Ags. They have a lot to work on before Bama comes to town. And welcome back, Ponies!

Got mountain aggy on the road...I have no idea what they are, or what their record is. It just occured to me that with Holgerson at UH, I don't know who their coach is...but I know they're always a pain to play.

#OkState RB Chuba Hubbard has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. Hubbard had the No. 1 FBS rushing performance on Saturday, finishing with 296 yards

He was held to 3.3 ypc versus Texas, he averages 9.0 ypc versus everyone else they played.

We cracked the Top 25 for the second time this year. Not sure we are there yet with a young team. I think I have already admitted I was wrong on the Herm hire. He is doing good work with a very young team and a true freshman qb who looks to have a bright future. Ill be in Tempe for the Wash St game and hope we can get a W.

Will Auburn be Bama's biggest threat this year during conference play? Defense is tough and the freshman qb will have a couple more months of college football under his belt.

Could be but my bet is on LSU with the Senior QB. LSU will score a lot of points on Bama.

The ragin Cajuns are playing some good ball right now. 4-1 in billy nappiers 2nd year. Big game next Wednesday night on national tv vs Appalachian st. I would put the Cajun rb trio against any team in the country.

Hopefully the Hokies rebound against Miami this week, and hopefully A&M is more prepared for Bama coming to town the next week.

Mond either need to wear his chastity belt or carry a tube of KY in a couple of weeks to keep Bama from going in dry. Hopefully that front comes in next week so I can be in the stand and don’t have to witness it.

Not looking forward to the potential pounding. I didn't go into this season expecting to win against Alabama, but I was hoping to see us as competitive - hope is dying.

The Ags seem to have some good athletes, and could use some more to fill the holes, but the offense doesn't look like a 'team' from the outside looking in.

Might be a long year.

Curious to see what the line opens at.

Both parents are Bama grads and pops is thinking 14-16. I laughed and don't see how its below a 3 score opener.

Should be a beating regardless.

OMG have ya'll synchronized your times of the month or what? It was a joke. Pretty funny, at least from the B12 prospective. Atm and vw are a lot more comparable than atm and tcu.

Not a lot of great matchups this week.

WV is the bottom 3 of the Big 12 They got stomped by Mizzu and barely beat Kansas.

Horns by 21.

Florida over Auburn.

I keep saying I’m going to Morgantown, but every two years it just doesn’t fall right. I’m looking forward to getting up there for a game.

I think they got a good ball coach that will get back to where they have been.

Same... I’ve been everywhere in the conference except Ames and Morgantown.

Manhattan is still my favorite town in the conference, by a large amount. I loved it there. Unbeknownst to the TAMU fans in this thread.....other institutions of higher learning in this country are Ag based. K State has a bar section called “AggieVille” that’s quite the party. Basement bars where you can walk from one to the next without having to throw out your drink or walk outside on the sidewalk. Pretty neat I thought.

Is he an upperclassman and on track to graduate? Khalil Herbert sat out this week vs TCU and expected to redshirt and be a graduate transfer. The portal is ridiculous. It's the most entitled thing of all time actually. Who in the world wants to stay in school longer?

Looks like a JR no idea on education.

As probably the only Penn State fan on this board I’m happy with their play so far. That being said we’ve beat the teams we’re suppose to. Things should get real interesting for them after this week (Purdue) as they have Iowa, Michigan and Michigan St. in back to back to back weeks.

What are thoughts on the new California law paying athletes for their likeness or allowing them to market themselves?

It would be good to have a big t-shirt fan base!

Free agency and paying college athletes is a game changer for college recruiting. Some say no but I think it only makes sense that a kid will go play where he can take advantage of the new law.

And then...there is the bag man! Just a different method of payola!
