I'm sitting at work watching the water rise around the control room on the security cameras. I went and checked the only road out earlier and stopped once it got around two foot deep. Looks like I won't be going home at 4am.

I'm at work as well. I think my house should be fine, but alot of my friends houses are flooding. During Harvey I got stuck at work for several days with a wife and 2 kids at home, swore it wouldn't happen again. Here I am at work with now a wife and 3 kids at home and not 100% sure I can get home due to high water. You can bet I'm going to do my level best to get to them though.

We are lucky this time. We have a small family house on the san Bernard River that got 6 feet in it at Harvey. Once we got it repaired and had two weekends there, then the 13 inch rain in Rosharon and Wharton flooded it another 2 feet. Saw this one coming in thought well at least we had one more weekend there after the most recent remodel before it floods again. But it sounds like we are in the clear this time. DEF definitely frustrating

Im on the north side of Dayton. I have only seen water over our road one time during Harvey. I left this morning and we had water over the road. I am in a trailer house so we are plenty high, but I did have about 1.5 feet in my yard this morning.

No good to hear. And to think they have been lowering the level of lake Conroe in preparation of a storm. If they hadn't it may have bee. Way worse.
