Good luck boys!! Doing our annual meetup at the donut shop. Should head to the field at 0600.

*Please have a safety talk with your group. Groups 2-200 could use it.

Hunting season 2019-20 is here!

Between Sweetwater and Roby, saw so many birds yesterday that the kids opted to sleep in and the wife and I are on the porch sipping coffee.

I have heard 4 shots in the distance and seen 3 birds since daylight.

Tons of white wings just north of Waco! I’ve seen well over 1000. Groups ranging 10-30 flying high and low.

4 birds between 8 hunters just North of Georgetown (a mile or so off of IH-35). Last 2 years everyone was limited out by 8am. This year, nothing is flying or coming near. Heard the same from buddies hunting in Walburg. Waiting to see/hear more reports.

Only got two birds here in Guadalupe county. The same field produced 30-minute limits opening weekend last year. It sounded like WWIII around us but they weren't interested in our milo field. Going back out in the afternoon so we will see if it is any better.
