Default Buck In Need of a 'Release'

You guys have any experience with bucks with this 'condition.' I looked at previous years and they've always been bigger but not to this extreme.

Anything to be worried about?

I look at a lot of pictures every week and keep specific files on deer from year to year. He's got short brow tines and kind of a different shape. Also always had that Short G2 on the right side.

So is he 6? Or you worried about him short term or looking to give him a pass to next year? I would think he will be fine but not sure if it will affect next years rack.

I'm guessing 5 or 6. I would like to give him another year just to see if there's a jump. He was 166ish last year from sheds. I'd guess he's a little better this year and has the character.

Weighing the possibility of drop not repeating and the swelling of the nether regions versus letting him go another year.

We killed one like that years ago. He was a really nice 5 yr 10, his nuts looked just like that. we killed him the next year, his nuts stayed the same size but turned black. his rack stayed the same size from a 5 yr to a 6 yr.
