Same experience for me. The first time it took nearly a year to go away. The second time was around 6 months.

OP you have to stop the baseball and give it plenty of time to heal.

A Theraband Flexbar works wonders for elbow tendinitis.

A brace will help, but the fix is more involved. The cause of your tennis elbow is inflammation. The number one cause of inflammation is diet, followed by overuse.

Watch your diet, there are certain foods that create inflammation in people, different for everyone. For example, carbs flare up inflammation in my shoulders. When I get close to bow season, I reduce carbs and a lot of processed food, otherwise my left shoulder will be in pain by week 2 of practice.

                  Good luck!

Dealt with it off and on since my late 20's.

Activity with the arm delays the healing(baseball).

Keep the ibuprofen going. Try to cut back on salts and caffeine.

                      ^^^this is your first step
Nothing will help if you continue throwing a baseball. It needs rest along with the therapy of your choice.

                        1) Rest and ice.
                        2) Use a lacrosse ball to massage the affected area. A tennis ball will suffice, but a lacrosse ball is better because it is firmer.
                        3) Look into Airrosti.

This is what worked for me anyway.

I used this for a couple weeks and it cured my tennis elbow. It keeps pressure on the problem area and it worked great for me.
Don't remember how long it took for recovery but all I could do was not use that arm or as sparingly as possible.

I just bought a forearm wrap this morning. Trying to swing a hammer last weekend and my fingers have been numb ever since. Got to where I could hardly lift my arm.

I use something like this under the advice of my family doc. Keeps ulnar nerve in place. My symptoms end up in my hand at the end of the nerve.
