? Which 22 S/L/LR Lever ?

Grew up with a Winchester 9422 since 9.

Looking to buy a new lever rimfire for a 10 yr old.

Question is:

Browning or Henry? I've never owned either but shot both many years ago. Starting this gift as though it is a lifetime owned gun like my 9422.

Hard to beat a Henry.

Brownings are pretty though.

This. My dad has a Henry and it’s a good rifle, but my BL-22 is on another level in my opinion.

Of those choices Browning Marlin 39a would be my choice find a nice used one pre safety/rebounding hammer

If you really want something special, nice wood, ( expensive ) check out grizzly custom guns. They make a couple lever action .22 if I remember correctly.

My vote is henry its my favorite gun i own.

I love my Henry classic.

I carry the gun pretty much everywhere I go. Do not care for the golden boy when I shoulder it but the classic is a slim and trim little job

The Henry's are beautiful rifles and are more heirloom quality. The brass ones anyway.
Want a rough and tough lever gun in 22lr that you will not mind scratching up?
The barrel is threaded also. Does the job for hogs in traps and plinkin too.
