Wild Game Innovations at Academy $30. It works so long as the animal is directly under the feeder. I've killed about 20 pigs with it. There are plenty of better lights out there but you said simple to install and inexpensive.

But sniper hawg light are the best made .

Check out Sniper Hog lights feeder light. I have no experience with it but I use their other lights regularly and I cant imagine it being a let down.
