During my spare time quarantining a few weeks ago, I made some "Yardzee" dice... More or less, time to practice with the new bandsaw, practice making veneer, practice making a dowel on a lathe, practice inlaying... All in all, a lot of fun and a good experience. So much so that someone on Facebook saw them and asked me to make a set for his dad for Father's Day... What an honor to be asked to make a gift with my "craft"... As all woodworkers know, we only see the mistakes. I would have done things differently, but get a chance to do just that.
Ultimately it was a lot of fun playing and drinking a shiner.
All in all, it should cost me about $25 in material. What are you hobbyists and side gig woodworkers charging for your time?
Edit... Sorry, meant to post in diy!
