I haven't heard of salt and pepper working. Just a half a bottle of whiskey.

Rinse with your favorite whiskey...hold it over around tooth and then swallow it...be a shame to spit it out...

            I've been gargling with Tullamore...

            They have me on percocet.

This is the worst tooth pain I've felt. Whatever it takes to get relief.

Mash up a clove and rub on the gum and tooth. Lots of home remedies are worthless but the clove will help.

If you got a pus pocket on the gum line causing pressure just take a needle and poke that sucker. Just have a glass of water handy trust me

Go to walgreens or CVS, they have a numbing medicine just for this. Its a q tip with a local anesthetic that you swab around the tooth. Definitely better than sitting around with it. Go get it now!

Let me tell you a toothache story.
I had a toothache , and finally (after 2 weeks) went to the dentist.
No problem, you need a root canal.
Did it right then, with plenty of antibiotics.
2 weeks later and still in pain, went to dentist.
More Xrays, nothing out of ordinary, just some infection.
                              More antibiotics, (higher caliber).
2 weeks later, still in pain, back to dentist.
More Xrays, nothing out of ordinary, more antibiotics.
2 weeks later, still in pain, back to dentist.
More Xrays, nothing out of ordinary, BUT, sends me to entodontist for 2nd opinion.
More Xrays, maybe a little pulp left from original root canal, so let's do another one, but first, here's a round of steroids to get rid of infection.
2nd root canal, entodontist finally finds crack around tooth, so we go to oral surgeon and pull it.
                              More antibiotics.
                              Now, I'm sick.
                              Yeast infection, stomach ulcer,(bleeding).
Takes me a full year to recover.
Don't fool around with a toothache.
                              Get to your dentist.
