I saw deer but didn't get a shot while hunting during bow opening weekend, so I'm trying to put a low-priced hunt together for the last bow-only weekend of this season, Oct. 26-28.
The rain has made hunting challenging this year, so I want to get a deer with a bow before the guns make it more difficult.
I need a couple more hunters to join me so we can strike a deal where we can each take a doe or a spike, plus one hog, for $350. Feeders are running, blinds are tuned up, and the lodging is comfortable.
The ranch is 600 acres located near San Saba with plenty of deer on it.
