Feathers vs. Vanes

What do yall prefer feathers or vains?
I personally like feathers over vanes!

I’ve only shot vanes but my dad had feathers for awhile but they started to fall apart after a couple years

Nothing out steers feathers, you just can’t beat nature. That being said vanes are a great alternative, easy to find and work with. Just depends what you are looking for. My biggest complaint when I used to shoot feathers exclusively was the inconsistency in base profile, but hey they come off an animal not out of a mold.

feathers always, I have no use for vanes,,,,, spray feathers with silicone a couple weeks before season and let it rain ( cause it always does! )....

I shoot both. Just depends on the bow I'm shooting. And the arrows I built for that bow.

Blazer vanes compound.

Every feather i shoot thru a deer is trash. Never can get them cleaned up and look right after a pass thru.
