If he thought there was any chance of a super bowl he’s still playing football no matter how big the broadcasting job is.

Jason knew he was on a 7-9 or 8-8 team and didn’t see a point in returning with the broadcasting gig there for the take.

Not to keep beating a dead horse, but I think Jason Witten is a football player first and to finally be able to climb that mountain and make it all the way to the top would his biggest desire. Winning a Super Bowl would far outweigh any broadcasting job.

But taking that job at that point was the right thing to do versus continuing his playing career with the dumpster fire the cowboys offense is quickly turning into.

We can disagree though. You may be right.
