Pretty good. They are hitting feeders really hard. Pin oaks are still dripping like crazy, not many white oaks. If you have some food, you should have a good late season.

Yessir, deer I killed last week was full of Red Oak acorns, mostly Water Oaks. Lot of green browse too.

dont have any pics but I filled my second doe tag Thanksgiving morning. All 3 of my shooter bucks I was chasing and getting pics of before season and during october have all been confirmed dead, shot by other guys on the lease.

Folks along SH 87 in the Bleakwood and Trout Creek areas have Kirbyville addresses. This place is off a county road off FM 1416 in Newton County, not too far from SH 87, closer to Trout Creek.

But their actual physical is:

275 CR 4098, Bon Wier, TX 75928

The 16"-17" neck is a dead give away that it isn't a free range, wild deer.. He is probably only 3.5 years old too.. Maybe 4.5..

My place is on 2460 .. between 1416 and trout creek . Its call Biloxi.. I'm 2 miles from belgrade. Ive seen some game cam pictures of big deer on the Donahue club off 1416.. The sabine river bottom produces some big deer..

Those signs are in every rural gas station all around Rayburn and Toledo and have been for years. I haven't heard that any one has released bears in many years though.

I think they put them on our place because if Louisiana letting bears go on their side of the river several years ago .. I'm 1.5 miles from the river as the crow flies..
